Which means :
“ Good Friends, for Jesus’ sake forbear,
To dig the bones enclosed here!
Bless the man that spares these stones,
And curse him that moves my bones.”
This is because at his time when a cemetery is full, the grave diggers used to dig up ground of previous buried and burn the bones to make room for the new ones that’s why Shakespeare wrote the epitaph to discourage everyone from burring it.
